I am Susan Hamel, I love coffee (flavored creamer and sugar please), superhero movies, and warm summer evenings filled with swimming and barbecuing in our backyard.
After I got my first DSLR in 2010, I practiced photographing my 3 hearts that run outside my body, my sons. Starting this journey, I never thought that it would have gone this far, but I fell in love. If you would have told me that I would be mostly doing composites, I would have shook my head and laughed. I particularly love surreal and fantasy art.
Composites resonate with me because I love to daydream. Having said this, I love so many different types of photography: wildlife, documentary, and macro to name a few.
Photography has become a little place for me in this vast world to be creative, share, and interact with others.
Being on the Summerana Team is such a privilege, and I hope that I can help you learn to create some beautiful and creative images.
